The "location location" con when purchasing a property

The term "location-location" attributed to Harold Samuel, but was coined by many property marketeers to create a shortage of property in specific areas around the planet, so that the demand could be increased for specific areas defined. This further enabled smart exploiters to develop areas outside "location" at a low cost and later create a new "location" label for these new areas, once the original areas had become saturated  (with ongoing demand keeping prices high) - ... and so the same process goes on!!  A case of brilliant marketing or what??
